Has there ever been a time in your life when you found yourself blaming outside circumstances? When things did not go exactly as you had anticipated and planned? Or perhaps when you thought to yourself, “Oh I don’t have the…(money, resources, mentors, coaches, college degree, books, etc.) I can’t do this”.
Although this is probably not going to be an easy thing to hear (and it certainly wasn’t easy for me either)…
STOP BLAMING AND MAKING EXCUSES FOR WHY YOU AREN’T WHERE YOU WANT TO BE!
Phew…Now that I got that off my chest, I have a POWERFUL video for you below to watch about why making excuses and blaming things outside of yourself is quite possibly the most destructive thing you could ever do on your journey to success.
*Warning: I get a little bit over the top in this video so if you aren’t prepared to have me tell it like it is then I would leave this site now and continue floundering where you currently are. If you’re ready for life transformation though, then listen in below…
The reality is that we ALL have made excuses from time to time however, if you’re letting them run your life then you need to STOP and realize that until you start taking action in a positive direction, NOTHING IN YOUR LIFE WILL CHANGE!
If you liked this post, do me a favor and make sure you share it on Facebook and Twitter and let’s help people together to stop making excuses and preventing them from unleashing their true potential…
Now if you’re ready to start moving your life in the right direction then congratulations and I applaud you for your new commitment to a better life
As always, leave me a comment in the box below and share your thoughts with me on this as I’d love to be able to interact and share more with you guys.
Have a wonderful day and go forth and live with passion!

A resounding HELL YES!
Mr. Michael Stead bringing FIRE today!
Anyone who watches this video should commit to viewing it once per day for the next 6 months. I think those who do will look back at this post as the straw that broke the camel’s back. This is the post that eradicates ANY excuses for you aren’t where you want to be.
That was hard-hitting, insightful, inspirational and just (bringing this out of retirement) radical!
Michael, this is brilliant. Thank you.

Dude I just wrote a blog post on this exact same thing! haha well not exactly the excuses part, but the part about people being so dam* negative all the time about home businesses yet they’re sittin on their a** day in and day out and are going to be doing the exact same thing 5 years from now!
They dont get that if they just sacrifice some time now, they can whatever future they want.
Good post man. I’m new to the Tribe so I’m sure I’ll be seeing you around.
PS. I’ll let you know when I publish my new blog post about this..

I just wrote out a huge comment lol and I don’t think it posted. If it did my bad about posting 4 times haha, but if not here is basically what I said in the first comment, but I’m gonna’ make it a little bit shorter.
I basically just said that I wrote a blog post on this exact same thing! Well not so much about excuses. Just about other people being negative towards us, home business owners, when they do the same dam* thing every single day and will for the next 5 years.
Even if they get a raise what happens? They buy more stuff. They don’t get any farther ahead in life. They just have to work more hours and have more clutter in their middle class garage. SORRY, but thats not the life i want.
But yeah man I’m new to the Tribe so I’m sure I’ll be seeing you around and we def need to connect more

@Yemi: Haha you’re awesome buddy! Glad you liked it and I must say you did an awesome job on your blog post today on super powers. Truly inspirational and very enlightening. Keep up the great work my friend
@Landon: Totally agree my friend…The middle class mindset seems to be, “How can I work harder?” So what do they do? They buy more liabilities on credit then get themselves further into debt then wind up broke age 65. It’s a sad reality but unfortunately it’s what can happen with poor planning and lack of education. I look forward to hearing more from ya!

Hi Michael,
If excuses and blaming other people is working, then by all means keep doing it. Though I doubt that this the case.
Excuses and blaming are just methods of fooling ourselves into thinking that what we are doing is OK, and that all the problems belong to someone else.
Let me get some more sand to bury that head in!

Hey Michael,
You know I just had this discussion a couple of weeks ago. I work in IT for a school district and it gets very irritation to hear people complain everyday about something that they can take control over. It’s even gotten to the point where I just walk away.
I have to share this info. with everyone. And by the way, I love the roots song “The Hipnotic” you had the end of your video

Very nice job Michael!
I enjoyed the video. We all have “those kind” of people in our lives to some extent. We have to just get good at filtering out the “noise”.
Keep it up buddy – great value

Awesome post Michael! I can definitely vouch for the are you crazy? deal from friends and family on this journey we choose. As to see them doing the same old thing, watching the same old TV and not getting anywhere in life themselves… it is odd that they feel they would know what we choose is stupid!
Excuses and lack of determination or of an open mind can hinder any type of success in life. Thanks for the wonderful message and you very true to your purpose in this video!
Great stuff!

Hey Michael
This is the first time I have been to your blog and I like what I see. You are a budding Jonathan.
I too hate people who make excuses. I realized listening to you that I have eliminated many people from my life who are not willing to move from victim mode.
Great message.

Hi Michael,
very inspiring video, thanks for sharing. Blaming anything or anybody only attracts stuff and folks to one’s life that is to blame. Why are we looking for the key to success outside of us while everybody knows deep down that the key to success lies within us ? Universe couldn’t have found a better place to hide the key
Take care

Michael! Great Stuff friend
Seriously, the blame game is annoying and quite honestly.. slightly obnoxious. It’s a convenient excuse to stay stuff, and not take responsibility. I hear some Jim Rohn in you… just listened to that audio recently. “Warrior talk”.. love that. Have an incredibly productive and exciting day. Life is great! Sye-

Hi Michael,
Great message! I know exactly what you are saying in fact I’m reading a great book called the Key by Joe Vitale where he addresses how people live their lives with regret and blame the world for their situation. “Everything you need it’s in YOU” and “You are the only one Who Creates your Reality”

I am all about taking action and getting people off their booties and working in this industry! I really liked how you pointed out that even though you don’t see immediate results, all of sudden it start escalating if you are doing things right. Thanks for this post!

Haha wow I’m a little blown away at the response that this post got but I’m very glad to see the conversation it has sparked in the process. You all brought up some very good points about excuse making, blaming, and playing the “victim card” and I can tell that all of you understand this subject very cool which is very refreshing for me.
